Written and originally recorded on a dark and
sleepy Sunday night, you could say "Lilacs" is a song that expresses
some hope for the coming spring. Or perhaps it offers a gloomy
foreshadowing. The song itself is rather simple, and could probably
stand some re-working.

this is the current version of "Lilacs" although it's still
unpolished, as it will likely remain.
Lilacs [May 2008] - A second
recording of "Lilacs" that features a few modifications from the
original.
Lilacs [Original] - Recorded on
March 9, 2008 - the day the song was written. This version
is entirely unpolished, but it's also the first recording of the
first song I ever wrote for the piano.
